Designed to enable you to provide a consistent high quality assessment for people referred for concessionary travel or beneficial facilities applicable to the disabled person.

Able 2 completes mobility assessments taking into account all categories contained within the Transport Act 2000.

We are able to screen applications that are received from the Local Authority, ensuring that only the appropriate applications are referred for a full assessment.

We have designed an Assessment Form which is used for all mobility assessments to ensure that all applicants are dealt with in a consistent, professional and equitable manner.

Our Occupational Therapists regularly complete clinics where applicants are asked to complete various tasks to assess their mobility, and they are advised of the outcome of their application at the time of the assessment.

Applicants are advised that they are entitled to appeal against the decision if they so wish, and are advised of the process at the time of assessment.

All of our assessments are audited by the commissioning authority to ensure consistency.
