We are very pleased to announce that we now run the whole of the Occupational Therapy service for Westminster City Council, we commenced this contract on the 1st April. We are also currently assisting Westminster with a review of all their taxicard holders by undertaking virtual assessments for all holders who have been required to reapply for their taxicard.  To date there has been 30% of exisitng taxicard holders assessed who are no longer eligible, which will provide a considerable cost saving. We are anticipating receiving approximately 800 applications which need to be completed over a two month period.

We are very pleased to confirm that after seven years working with the London Borough of Enfield we have just had our contract with them renewed.  We look forward to our continued working relationship.

Able 2 continues to be very busy and note that we have now completed over 1800 adaptations to properties in the London Borough of Ealing.

We now have three Occupational Therapy Managers in place who together with Madeleine Butler our Managing Director provide regular screening of our assessments, together with providing regular supervision for our Occupational Therapists, to ensure that we maintain excellent quality in the standard of our service.  We have also recently recruited two Senior Occupational Therapists

Three of the Boroughs in which we work have now gone live with the Retail Model, and although our Occupational Therapists may have been concerned initally they have soon adapted.

Our database has had further enhancements and we are now live with our document management system which is a very positive move.  We are over the next month further enhancing our adminstration and developing strategies to work towards a paperless office.

We have had a few staff changes recently with Alice Kendrick moving on to Bedfordshire and Nicky Jefferies leaving for a new position as an Occuaptional Therapy Assistant.  We would like to wish them good luck in their future endeavours.

We welcome to our administrative team Kate Turner and Jess Flack.
