Design for Public Private Commercial premises Part M

The expertise of our Occupational Therapists provides an invaluable source of advice and information with regard to the design of public, commercial and residential buildings. We can assist the Architect to design buildings and facilities in an appropriate and fully accessible way.

The Disability Discrimination Act requires all buildings to be accessible and that reasonable adaptations/modifications should be carried out to existing buildings, This does not have to be an extensive and costly procedure.

Able2’s team of Occupational Therapists are able to provide an assessment of your premises and develop a design brief to enable you to fulfil the legislative requirements in an appropriate and cost effective way.

We are able to provide the professional advice required to enable Housing Authorities to have a stock of suitably designed properties providing flexible housing options for their tenants.

In addition our Occupational Therapists can provide appropriate Occupational Therapist assessment and advise services to enable Residential and Nursing Homes to fulfil their requirements under The National Care Standards.

The quality of our service is supported by our dedicated and motivated Administrative Team. Centrally based and able to support the work of our Occupational Therapists throughout the UK.
